Submittal Steps

To submit corrupted or damaged media for data recovery, please follow the steps below:

  1. Use our Service Request Form to provide minimum detail about your problem and your contact information.
  2. Enclose printed form in your shipment. We recommend you use the following guidelines for packaging:
    • Enclose the hard drive in an antistatic bag, if possible.
    • Place the drive in a sturdy box, with at least 2 inches of packing material between the drive and the box.
    • For packing material you can use foam, bubble wrap, styrofoam nuggets to securely pack the drive in the box. Do not use peanuts for this purpose. Be sure, the media doesn't move from the middle of the box.
    • Write your return address on the outside of the box.
  3. Ship the package to any of these locations:

  4. Upon receipt of your package, we will first perform an immediate diagnostic evaluation in our lab.
  5. After the evaluation is completed we will contact you to give the results with the estimated time and cost to recover your data. Please read Data Recovery Service for details.
